Mercer University's Atlanta Campus provides health care for students at the Health Clinic located on the 2nd floor Sheffield Student Center.
Campus Healthcare Services has a part-time family nurse practitioner, Luella Wheeler-Ikuesan, working in collaboration with the medical doctor. The Physician is available for appointments during the week and referrals to specialists are made as needed.
Healthcare services are provided to students at Mercer University to meet the needs of primary health care. All students are required to have health insurance.

Emergencies
If you have a serious accident or illness when the office is closed, report to a local emergency room or urgent health care facility.
Notify CHCS within 48 hours so that we can give you an emergency referral that may defray the cost of this off-campus treatment.
You can call the Mercer Campus Police 24 hours-a-day from any campus phone at 6358. If the emergency is urgent, you may call 6911 from campus phones or 911 from outside phones. | |
