Stress & Anxiety  

tress involves the body's physical and emotional reactions to an external situation. The stress can arise from a negative event, such as taking exams, or a positive event such as receiving an award.  However, anxiety has an internal source and may occur without any external stressful events.

Symptoms
 
  • headaches, stomachache, diarrhea
  • insomnia and fatigue
  • increased blood pressure and heart rate
  • irritability or sadness
  • increased use of alcohol or other drugs
  • frequent minor illnesses

  • adequate sleep 
  • good nutrition
  • exercise regularly
  • avoid alcohol and drugs
