- If you receive any type of financial aid, you should check with the Financial Planning Office regarding the possible effect of withdrawal.
Students seeking to withdraw from an on-line course will submit the following information:
Send an e-mail request (Mercer e-mail account only) to the Course Instructor and Registrar ( Registrar@mercer.edu )

- Birthdate
- Student ID
- Home school/college and location (Macon, Atlanta, Douglas Center, Henry Center, Eastman Center, Macon Center)
- Telephone (Home and Work/Cell)
On-line course(s) to be dropped with grade of AW@
(examples: CHR 101.001, MATH 129.1D1 or CALL #)
The instructor will respond to the student request, copying the Registrar. The e-mail response from the instructor will serve as approval and the official approval date will be the date that the Registrar receives the e-mail of approval from the instructor.
After the deadline for on-line course withdrawal the instructor and Associate Dean must grant approval. The e-mail response to the Registrar from the instructor and Associate Dean will serve as approval and the official approval date will be the date that the Registrar receives the e-mail of approval from both.
