A Billy Jonas performance is an explosion of energy! In singalongs, bangalongs, whisperalongs, as well as improvised songs, his primary instrument is the audience. Everyone becomes part of the performance. His work is born out of respect and reverence, and seeks to honor the creative energy in everyone.


Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Laugh and sing along with Alexander's misadventures in this hilarious musical from the author of the best-selling classic book. Discover along with Alexander that sometimes everyone has a terrible, horrible no good, very bad day.

Sponsored by the Middle Georgia Association of Realtors and the Advocacy Resource Center, the evening will open with local favorite Shane Bridges and will include the "diamond" internationally renowned classical pianist Edward Eikner and "down home denim" country soul legend Ronnie Milsap. Get ready for a sparkling evening of entertainment that appeals to all ages and all types of music lovers. All proceeds will benefit the Advocacy Resource Center.

Mercer University Quadworks will present UC LIVE in the University Center Arena on Mercer's campus featuring national recording artists Cartel, Mario, and Plain White T's. Central Georgia Opera Guild's second presentation of the 2007-2008 season is Gioachino Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville). Rossini comically riffs on middle-aged romantic pursuits and underlying panic in this masterpiece of opera buffa. Under the baton of Dr. Robert Hart Baker, the Asheville Lyric Opera Company presents North Carolina native mezzo-soprano Cheryse McLeod Lewis in the role of Rosina, Greensboro Opera tenor Daniel Stein as Count Almaviva, and Opera Theatre of St. Louis bass Daniel Webb as Bartolo.
